Sorry about my rushing off earlier, but we were off to the beach, and I was becoming very unpopular sitting on my computer when everyone was sitting in the car waiting for me. Gorleston Beach was very sunny, but there was a very chilly breeze coming off the North Sea, so Sam and I spent most of the afternoon sheltered from the wind sitting outside the pub in a sunny sheltered spot watching the world go by (and you certainly see some odd people there!) whilst the kids and their friends rollerskated, ate ice creams, trampolined, and played in the sand. Sophie went off to meet her boyfriend, and spent a couple of hours playing basket ball with him and his friends, not her idea of fun when she was all dressed up.
I managed to get the Pencil Lines's Sketch done tonight. It was a very challenging one, and I wasted lots of paper trying to get the wavy strips just right to interact with eachother, and not totally blot out the photos. The papers are all Basic Grey Urban Couture, and I inked the raw chipboard letters with brown chalk ink. I added bling to the flowers, and the journaling is about how Sophie and her Dad are getting a bit closer as she is maturing more, they are both great jokers and Sophie has become physically closer to her Dad, hugging him more, and just genrerally spending more time together, however she doesn't quite respect him the way she should just yet, there is a lot of lip, and sparks still fly!
The last LO I did yesterday at the crop was one using Basic Grey papers again (See I told you I use them) from the Stella Ruby range. I added some extra flowers I cut from a different page, some buttons and bling to create a circle including the title. It just took me an age to get everything in it's right place in that circle, but I am very pleased with the effect, I so love that paper. I stamped some words on little cardstock strips to describe some of Sophie's current traits. I think she'll agree with all of them, especially the "untidy" one, but posibly not the "moody" one, but what teenager isn't moody? In fact I have an 11 year old that is pretty moody, he really takes after his big sister.
I really should get myself to bed.

So glad you shared the 'Love you' LO cause you were still struggling with it when I had to go on Saturday & I think it looks fab. It may have been a struggle but 'Closer' was certainly worth it.
